When I was asked to recreate the iconic Fenway Park for a baseball themed bar mitzvah, I was thrilled to be able to recreate something so massive in cake. It took me weeks of studying the layout of the park, the streets that surrounded them, and the detail on every side of the stadium. Because the park is so iconic, it has so many little details that had to be recreated just right. So I started, piece by piece creating them. The catch was I also needed to make sure that I incorporated the guest of honors as well. What better way to incorporate him than to congratulate him on the score board? And that’s just what I did.
